Massage Therapy reduces symptoms of various conditions of health 33,511 in Brandon, Valrico, Riverview

Shelley Flannery writes in the fall 2009 issue online Massage Envy Magazine about how massage therapy reduces the symptoms of health conditions. Since the therapy Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage therapy, sports massage and Massage Therapy Pregnancy massage clinics are available in 33,511 in Brandon, Valrico, Riverview and Bloomingdale, residents in these areas can easily use of their benefits.

According to Flannery, however, the American Massage Therapy Association advises people to communicate all the information about their illnesses to their masseur during consultations before each session of massage therapy. These include crucial information to be pregnant, which have undergone recent surgery or serious illness, having had an accident recently had a heart problem, diabetes, any circulatory problems, blood clots or varicose veins; fever that infectious diseases, bacterial infections or rashes, and taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory.

Massage has been associated with the reduction and symptom management fibromyalgia, arthritis, temporomandibular joint syndrome and stress.

The National Fibromyalgia Association defines fibromyalgia as a syndrome characterized by chronic pain, psychological stress, fatigue and disturbed sleep. Science has not yet identified its cause, though. It also seems ironic that pain patients with fibromyalgia experience, even the slightest touch in some parts of their bodies and yet can accept and benefit so much from massage.

Licensed massage practitioner Ruth Werner, certified at both national therapeutic massage and bodywork, is the author of the book, "Guide to a physiotherapist of Pathology." says, "nobody has really responded as massage helps fibromyalgia. But was found to increase the amount of time that a person is in stage 3 and stage 4 sleep, which is difficult to achieve fibromyalgia. It 'also possible that massage works' out' some of the chemicals in the treatment of pain. "

Another health condition to respond to massage is osteoarthritis. According to Flannery, is the most common type of arthritis, with nearly 27 million Americans suffer from it. Osteoarthritis is occurs when the cartilage breaks down. Cartilage is the tissue that holds together the bones, which allows easy and smooth movement of joints. With the breakdown of cartilage is pain. Werner explains: "The muscles around the affected joints tend to be tight in an attempt to 'guardian' of the area, which really does only increase the pain and reduces the range of motion. Massage is not going to fix the arthritis, but it will help with Muscle Pain and stiffness.

Temporomandibular joint syndrome (ATM) also benefit from massage. The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research defines as a condition characterized by low mobility and pain in the jaw. Over 10 million people are reported to be afflicted in the United States. Some of the causes identified include injury or trauma to the jaw, some procedures dental, arthritis, autoimmune diseases, infections, hormones and genetics. In 2007, the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies published a study that found that the Massage can reduce the symptoms of temporomandibular joint syndrome – pain, limited mobility and clicking in the jaw.

Finally, the massage was also found to relieve stress. Diana Thompson, the president of the Massage Therapy Foundation, which is also an authorized medical massage, says: "There is a bit 'of research out there about massage and the emotional component. At school, we have separated the mind and body, but the literature shows that massage can be really good at helping with stress and anxiety. stress resolution goes a long way in alleviating the symptoms of various health conditions and prevent the emergence of new afflictions as effort has been known to weaken the immune system.

Relieve the symptoms of fibromyalgia, arthritis, temporomandibular joint syndrome and stress through massage techniques therapy, massage therapy, Swedish, deep tissue massage therapy and sports massage therapy in 33,511 Brandon, Valrico, Riverview and Bloomingdale.
