In Genesis, Chapter 1, verse 27 tells us: "God created man in His own image, in the divine image he created him, male and female he created them." He has made "green" in this case and so we see and appreciate the natural things in the way the shapes are not lower. Satisfaction for our existence go beyond the pleasures of our senses.
